Outdoor
Much Hadham Playgroup is based in the grounds of St Andrew's School, in a custom built building which is shared with the school's nursery.
The garden is a contained and safe environment containing wild flowers and herb beds, the ideal place for the children to observe nature and the changing of the seasons. The garden is equipped with a playhouse and storage sheds containing numerous outdoor toys. It is the perfect place for children to get regular fresh air along with physical activity and sensory enjoyment.
The Much Hadham Playgroup Ball has recently raised funds to alter the garden, and in summer 2007 work was carried out to provide a fixed slide, a train and station, a tree seat, and a sand pit with appropriate soft surfaces around. All this will hopefully encourage the children to use their imagination outside as well as physical play
Indoor
The Quiet Room contains many books, the computer and the television.
There is a home corner with a carpeted area for reading stories to the group. There are numerous activity tables where numerous stimulating and enjoyable craft activities take place.
